Hudson County Prosecutors Office Chooses Metro Shredding to Provide Complete Document and Archival Destruction Services

Jersey City, New Jersey, September 9, 2003 - Metro Shredding will provide the County Prosecutor’s Office with complete on-site document and archival shredding in Jersey City, Secaucus and other locations.  

“In making our decision it was important that the vendor we chose be able to adhere to strict guidelines regarding confidentiality and security,” said Hudson County Prosecutor Edward  J.
De Fazio. "We chose Metro Shredding because they appear to be a first class organization that provides secure and reliable services. Equally important, they support the community by employing people with special needs and by funneling their profits back into vocational training programs offered by their parent company.   By doing business with Metro Shredding, we are supporting our community,” he said.

Hudson Community Enterprises is a non-profit organization that has been serving Hudson County members with special needs for 47 years.  It offers vocational training in a variety of employment areas, vocational rehabilitation and job placement programs.
